Henne's Winter Festival XII

GNC Sunrise Metal Print
The little sunrise print is the one I'm talking about.  It is one that I chose to print on metal, aluminum, i. e.

I first heard about printing on actual metal in an article written by Windy Erickson editor of Photo Technique Magazine.  It was in the March/April issue and was titled:  "Untarnished Dreams: Metals for Digital Printing."  In the article she mentioned ready-to-print Booksmart Metals.  I chose the Satin Gold from the sampler I ordered from Booksmart for the GNC Surise metal print.  It makes the reflected light on the clouds literally jump out at you.  You have to see it to appreciate the effect.  I think this print displays best when it is not quite in the direct light, just as Mary Henne has displayed it.  It draws in your eye so that you can not miss it.

There are many nice works of art at the Festival.  Please stop by to see, appreciate and maybe even purchase them.
