I think this is the ring mentioned with the sample. The sample was extremely small.

The boulangerite are the dark, actually lead gray, strands. They are not numerous in these pictures.

If
you have done much macro photography, you know how hard it is to find
the subject in the view finder when it is so small. I found that I
could shine a bright flashlight backwards through the camera to locate
the subject. When the light is on the subject the camera is aimed.
The
other information that is helpful is the working distance for your
setup. I am collecting that data now. I will be happy to share when it
is done.
