| Mr. Fitzsimmons and Special Student |
I received Nature's Eye Newsletter the other day. In it David Fitzsimmons eulogized his father, Mic Fitzsimmons who passed on January 21, 2019. When I taught at Malabar Middle School, years ago, our class went to Outdoor Ed maybe twice a year.
Mr. Fitzsimmons was one of the staff on hand when we arrived. He showed sensitivity, concern and care for our students. I thought us fortunate to have that experience together and to know Mr. Fitzsimmons.
We always kept a "drugstore" camera in the top desk drawer so capture moments like this.
