This sample comes from Aris Phonolite, Windhoek, Namibia. It is recessed as is characteristic of tuperssuatsiaite from that region. It is also found in Greenland where it was first discovered and identified in 1984 in the rocks bordering Tuperssuatsiat Bay, Tunulliarfik Fjord (Tunugdliarfik), Ilímaussaq complex, Narsaq, Kujalleq, Greenland.
