I test drove one of these once but ended up buying a used 1969 or '70 Olds F85, 4 door instead

1956 Olds Rocket 88

From the arty side of me I found this to be my favorite shot.  I was moving quickly because the light was changing.  I wanted to photograph the engine but they were not ready to open the hood.

1962 Corvair Convertable

Not only unsafe at any speed but no role bar.  Little did we know.

Many of the cars had big block engines, being "Muscle Cars."  I'm afraid at my age all that has lost most of its allure for me.

1966 Pontiac GTO

This was a mid sized car at the time, having a "big" engine

1969 Chevy Nova SS350

If you couldn't afford a chevell you could buy a Nova with a big block engine.
