I might have mentioned, previously, that bridge 3 needs repair. It was our newest bridge until bridges 4 and 8 were built. There was a piece of railroad tie supporting this side just like there is one on the other side.

I think that I found the missing support. It is located just above bridge 2. It might be worth the effort to save a newish bridge from destruction during flash flooding this spring by replacing the support.

Our current policy seems to be that we cut up fallen trees into logs to float down stream. It seems to me that they might be destructive to bridges as they travel into them during flash flooding.

These logs are large enough to have striking power to create damage during flash flooding.
