"A Vernal Pool" at Gorman Nature Center

Gorman Nature Center
It seems that the travail of getting this series displayed has been long and arduous.  Here it is at Gorman Nature Center.  Thanks to Jason Larson, Richland County Park District Director, for the opportunity to display it.  If you are in the area, please stop by during Nature Center hours to view it.  If you do not live in the area, you can view these 15 and a few more in a slide show on the home page of Larry's Images .com .

These prints are NOT for sale.  I am still working out technical difficulties related to production and longevity.  In most cases the creatures are identified.  I have tried to share what I learned through the experience of photographing them.

The vernal pool is the one on the right on the way to the covered bridge if you don't recognize it.  The creatures are there all the time even when it is frozen on the surface.  You may notice that the naturalists have broken the ice to net creatures.
