It is time for Jack-in-the Pulpit.  I personally have not seen any but my visits to the nature center are not as frequent as they used to be.

The flowers are unisexual, in small plants most if not all the flowers are male, as plants age and grow larger the spadix produces more female flowers. Wikipedia

When leaving the visitor center turn right after crossing the tiny bridge.  You should find them until you leave the woods.
