Black Locust Setup

The Black Locust, as I may have mentioned earlier, is blooming beautifully this year.  I like to hang out photographing it because it is beautiful and sweetly odoriferous.  I have been more aware of background as I work the scene.  I have come to like the effect of the flash to enhance the subject.

I think the pinnate leaves really add to the image.

I was reminded, the other day that these trees still have thorns.  They are so beautiful and smell so good that I forget.  We will see thorns tomorrow.
