I have read that the Long-jawed Orbweaver Spider is an effective predator of mosquitoes. I have found what I believe to be mosquitoes trapped in their webs.

| Trapped Insect |
The mosquitoes were bad earlier in the summer when we had so many rains but have become less annoying since the rains have stopped. I like it when the spiders eat them.
