Gray Treefrog

Gray Treefrog
This frog is probably about 1 inch in length.  It is tiny!  Unlike its name it is not gray because it is sitting on a green leaf.  Its scientific name is hyla versicolor.  I assume that indicates that it changes color.  I found it across the trail north of the frog pond.  It is not easy to see because of its camouflage.

Gray Frog
I saw it for four days running in that location.

I did not see its rear toes gripping the grass stem at first glance.
