Ground Ivy

I am cleaning up my "to blog" folder and these shots had not been used previously.  The ground ivy is a beautiful little plant.  You can miss it if you do not look carefully.

Buttercup

These were growing in the edge of the woods.  I think that sometimes a flower is more beautiful just before it opens.  You can see the promise of the beauty to come.  These may be one of the flowers that open and close each day.
