A Duck a Day

Lesser Scaup

A duck a day?  Not quite, but we have seen quite a few different ducks on the pond this year.  I have added several to my collection and this is one.

This duck, a diving duck, was not as flighty as some I have seen.  I was able to work the light as it swam around.

This is the male.  I did not observe a female.  Usually the ducks come in pairs.
