Near Objects II

Gorman Nature Center
I had a better understanding of the challenge involved when I made this one.  I used a circular polarizing filter as you will note in the sky.  A circular polarizing filter on a wide lens, 10 - 20 mm in this case, can be a problem in the sky.  The field of view is wider than the effect of the filter.

I was successful with the teasel.  There was, however, an area around it created by the far focus shots.  I need to work with that.

You may note the track of my little yard cart which I use to carry my equipment.  I had just made my "cameo" appearance in the time-lapse that I was shooting that morning when I noticed this.
