Quartz Sceptre (Reverse)

Quartz Sceptre (Reverse)
A sceptre is a slender rod with something large on top.  A sceptre in reverse has something big at the base and is smaller on top.  Think of a shepherd's staff with out the crook.  The big thing could be some sort of finial, not a crook.

Quartz Sceptre (Reverse)
This quartz has iron in it creating the red color.  The sample comes from Rock Candy Geodes, Chihuahua, Mexico.  The formula is SiO2
