| Appalachian Brown Butterfly |
Jan Swartz notified me about this and some other insects she had spotted and photographed. This kind of butterfly is extremely difficult to photograph because it is secretive.

| Rotting Fruit |
I read that you can bait them with rotting fruit but I was unsuccessful. I put it out early one morning, came back later to find nothing except the fruit. The fruit was gone the next morning.
