I think that I am learning to photograph wild flowers so that I can ID them later in Newcomb's book. I can't think why it has taken me so long. I was photographing bees on this aster and decided to confirm what kind it was. I shot the bloom. That is the easy part.

I photographed a leaf to view the leaf edges. My ID was easy and certain after I got to looking in the asters which I knew it was.
