I have seen other's pictures of this species of Bumblebee but have never seen a live one. I was pleased to add it to my collection.

It likes nectar too.
The bees come out earlier in the morning than the butterflies and moths. Sometimes they stay on the plant over night in which case they look wet in the morning unlike this one which was dry and fluffy.
