Found Stream Logs |
We have an interesting stream at Gorman Nature Center. I would like to walk to the spring where it supposedly begins sometime. It does dry up when we have no rain. Under normal conditions of periodic rain it flows continuously. It has its time of being a raging torrent, though I have never seen it that way. I just see the aftermath. It must be almost a flash flood. My theory is that the run off from the subdivision just East of Gorman empties into the stream and causes the flash flood.
These are logs deposited by the stream in one of its flash floods.
