Damselflies and Dragonflies

Ebony Jewelwing Female
I saw almost none of these.  This is my only shot.  This is the largest damselfly.

Arrowhead Spiketail
This was a new addition to my collection of images this year.

Common Baskettail
Shadow Darner
These were very scarce this year.  We could still have them around.  I have seen some larger dragonflies flying but have not gotten close enough to identify.

Eastern Forktail
This damsselfly had just emerged from its exoskeleton.  It was waiting for its new exoskeleton to form.

Eastern Forktail
Slender Spreadwing
Most damselflies perch with their wings held over their body.  This is an exception.

Slender Spreadwing
We will continue with more of these tomorrow.
