Bowl and Doily Spider |
I happened across this little guy the other morning. His web was at a good height for me to see. I noticed that he seemed to be on the bottom of the bowl.
I used a Sigma 70 - 300 mm macro lens on a 1.4x teleconverter for this shot. It was difficult to get a pleasing angle. The web was located in the shade just before the sunlight hit it, interesting light.
I thought the design interesting when I viewed it. It seems to draw my eye in, even at a distance. I like the dew drops on the web.
This web was located higher than any of these webs I have noticed. Usually, they are located near the ground, too low for me.
