Parents and Brothers

Carl Baker, Frieda Eicher, Harold Baker, Ralph Baker, Virgil Baker

 Mother had five brothers, one of whom, had passed when this picture was taken.  His name was Wilda Baker.  He was from Dayton, Carl was from Toledo, Harold from Maplewood, Ralph from Urbana, and Virgil was St. Augustine, FL.  I am sure that she had to learn to protect herself being the only sister!

Dad, in contrast, had only one brother.  Harold was two years older.  They helped each other in their farming operations.  Harold lived near Quincy, only seven miles from our place.  Harold raised hogs and Dad raised cattle and milked.
