| Pitch Pine |
I noticed these "cute" little pine cones the other day and photographed them. We have several of these trees at Gorman Nature Center. They are pollinating and you can see the pollen thick in the air. It lands on your car if you park near the tree. It lands on camera lenses, too! When the wind blows it looks like a cloud of smoke.
