I was previously unaware of this one and had no images in my collection. Now, I have a lot.

These images are of the male. I have seen a female which was ovipositing next to the shore, 6". I am sure it was the female because the book said that is her behavior. She was so quick that I could not really see her as my vision is not as quick as it once was.

The graspers on the last segment look intimidating.
I have seen these dragonflies at the big pond and at the vernal down before the covered bridge.
