I obtained these samples which were in little separate bags and labeled. It is ore of copper and is mined in open mines such as: Escondida a copper mine in the Atacama Desert in Northern Chile. It
is currently the world's largest copper mine by reserve. The mine
contained more than 32 million tonnes (Mt) of recoverable copper
reserves at the end of 2012. (Wikipedia) The shots are at 8x.
The saturated colors are a tarnish which forms on the ore, making it beautiful, in my opinion.
