Vernal Pools and Bridge

Vernal Pool that I call "My"

There is dragonfly and damsel fly activity at this pool.  The jury is still out on whether it will be a good shooting season there.

GNC Covered Bridge

Walking to the Covered Bridge, you pass the above vernal pool.

Northeast Vernal Pool

This vernal pool is located to the Northeast after you cross the Covered Bridge.  The water level is receding as is characteristic for vernal pools at this time of year.  It is important for the mud to dry out so that the shrimp will hatch.
