A Tree Frog Tadpole?

Tree Frog Tadpole?
This creature showed up when I was photographing pond life.  It was not terribly large, about the size of the other tadpoles but it had developed front legs and it had only a short tail.  I have read that tadpoles store food in the tail at certain stage of their development.  It looks to me like this one's tail is shrinking which would indicate a more advanced stage.

I have chosen to print it.  It is on my list. I chose it because it is well focused and has a good background.

I must admit that I am anxious for spring.  I miss getting out.
