I was thinking as I walked the other day that just about anything can be a subject as long as the light is doing something to it.  Even the red leaves without special lighting would not provide the interest that the rising sun light filtering through the trees lighting them provides.

I used a circular polarizing filter to control the reflections from the leaf surfaces and the water surface.  I think that it also enhanced the color.
