Hooded Merganser

I found these ducks to be flighty.  I did not get a shot while they were on the pond.  They didn't give me much time.  Once they were above the tree level, my auto focus could grab their silhouette.  These shots have lots of chromatic aberration lots of noise because of the low light and my less than perfect long lens.  I will keep watching for another opportunity.

I don't like finding the geese on the pond in the morning because they tend to make the ducks, if there are any, nervous.
