Gray Catbird

I started out erroneously thinking that the sound of the Catbird came from a Mocking Bird until I learned that we do not have Mocking Birds at Gorman.  The Catbird has a distinctive call and is easy to recognize.  I have noticed, also, that they sing another song.  I have wanted to photograph and record that so that I know that it came from the bird in the photograph.  I finally accomplished that goal recently.  I wonder if the song has something to do with mating.
