Flint in B & W

Flint
This shot shows that flint is a sedimentary rock.  You can see the layers.  There is also a crack.  I liked this shape.  I think that it is dynamic in this composition.  This is an extreme closeup.  At first, I was not sure if I had enough depth-of-field but have decided that it works for me.  I also decided that color was not necessary to the expression of the image.  I like it in B&W.  What do you think?
