The formula is (Na,Ca)₂Nb₂O₆(OH,F).  It usually has included radioactive elements which are not part of the chemical equation.

Pyrochlore

It is a member of the Pyrochlore group.  Pyrochlore typically contains .05% Uranium and Thorium.  Wikipedia does not mention practical uses but this seems the most likely possibility to me.

This sample was obtained from Oka, Quebec, Canada.

The chemical formula for this mineral is (K,Na)(Fe,Mg)₂(Al,Fe)₃(Si,Al)₁₂O_{30, according to Wikipedia.}

It was first discovered in volcanic rock near Osumi, Japan.

Cuprite

Cuprite

Cuprite is an oxide mineral, Cu₂O.  You and I used to think that copper oxidized to green.  This oxide is deep red according to Wikipedia.  Wikipedia also states that it is a minor ore of Copper.  It does not say whether it is "minor" because of its availability or lack there-of.

"Pink" is not listed as a color of Cuprite's crystals but the dark red crystals around the pink are definitely Cuprite.  It can be used as a gem if it possesses the required clarity.  It that instance it is called Ruby Copper.  It lacks the hardness of Ruby, making it less desirable.
