I found them difficult to photograph at Gorman Nature Center and Clear Fork.  I have successful shots from Lake Erie where it's easier that I may show later.

I shoot these kind of shots with my camera set on continues shooting at 8 fps.  I captured something this time which helped me learn about this bird.

GHB Emptying Bowel 

They empty their bowel after takeoff.
