To Photograph Small Things

Swift Microscope with Canon Camera Mounted
I tried to use this rig several years ago.  I produced some images but don't know about the Field of View.

At the time I was still working in the field which was mostly Gorman Nature Center.  I failed to achieve a frame filling image as you can see.

I had the problem of the camera being too heavy for the microscope to support.  I only worked on it when I had nothing else pressing.  Now days, I have nothing else pressing and so I can work on it more.

In the late 70's when my youngest daughter was sick, I wanted to be able to photograph the family.  My old Voightlander 35mm viewfinder camera had ceased to work and could not be repaired.  I purchased a Mamiya 35mm and included the accessory of extention tubes.  I kind of got busy photographing the family and didn't have time to experiment with them much but my interest in "photographing small things" goes back to then.
