| Herkimer Diamond |
This is a crystal, doubly terminated, of quartz. They grow one place in the world, as far as I know, and that is Herkimer, New York, or there-bouts. This sample is supposed to have a bubble inside. The sample is2.35X on the sensor.
It was in need of cleaning which I did. I was brushing it and lost it, never to find it again. I have others and plan on making new images of them. I will show you later.
