2O is the formula for Phillipsite. Wikipedia states, "The species was established by
Armand Lévy in 1825 and named after
William Phillips." Mindat.org states, "The original phillipsite material was from Acireale, Etna Volcanic Complex, Catania Province, Sicily, Italy."
From my cursory reading I got the impression that Phillipsite has no industrial use. Other minerals in the same group, Zeolite, have been used for water filtration.

The little cave like opening provides mystery. I wondered, "What is in there?" I, later, was able to make an image answering that question.

I find the crystals interesting.
