Fragile Forktail Damselfly

Fragile Forktail Damselfly
These little creatures are about 1 inch long.  They are common at Gorman.

They sit on the lilypad, and other places, watching for a smaller insect to eat.

The damselflies seem to come out earlier in the morning than the dragonflies.  I have never seen a dragonfly eat a damselfly but that could be a possibility.  They are less visible when the dragonflies are out.
