Bloodroot

Bloodroot
I saw this flower on March 30, 2016.  I was able to make this focus stack capture.  It is the only one I have seen so far this season (4-9-16).  The leaves stay curled until the bloom has opened and the petals fall off (one day).  I went back on the 31st and found the plant but the petals were gone.  I would like to do a time lapse of the plant to see what pollinates it.

The juice is red and poisonous and small bees or flies pollinate it according the Wikipedia.
