This is a capture from October 22, 2011 showing the goldfinch in its winter plumage. It completely molts loosing its summer feathers. It is a granivorous bird, eating seed.
I just came across this shot and wanted to share it. I am redoing my website. I started around the beginning of November and hope to end by March 1. The rules for the code for websites changed sometime this year invalidating most of the code for my site requiring me to go though it completely. If you missed my posts, that is why.
