Someone asked the other day, "Why are you photographing that?"  My answer was, "Because I think it beautiful."

By the time you read this most of the blooms, if not all, will be gone for this year.  I am sad to see them go.

Honey Bee on Thistle

This shot represents good news for us all.  We still have honey bees at Gorman and they like thistle nectar.  The pollinate many if not all the plants that we eat.  We need them.
