Slender Spreadwing

Slender Spreadwing Female
I have been seeing what I believe to be slender spreadwing damselflies by the vernal pool north of the covered bridge.  I say, "believe to be...", because they land and leave their wings spread for a short time and then close them to the position shown above.

Slender Spreadwing
This one landed on the other side of the cattail leaf.  I could see nothing but its wings.  I quietly and slowly walked around the leaf so I could see the whole damselfly.  By then, the wings were closed to the position shown.
