Boulagerite

Boulangerite
Boulangerite is a sulfosalt mineral, lead antimony sulfide, formula Pb5Sb4S11Wikipedia

I think this is the ring mentioned with the sample.  The sample was extremely small.

Boulangerite
The boulangerite are the dark, actually lead gray, strands.  They are not numerous in these pictures.

If you have done much macro photography, you know how hard it is to find the subject in the view finder when it is so small.  I found that I could shine a bright flashlight backwards through the camera to locate the subject.  When the light is on the subject the camera is aimed.

The other information that is helpful is the working distance for your setup.  I am collecting that data now.  I will be happy to share when it is done.

Aragonite

Aragonite

Argonite is a carbonate mineral.  This sample comes from Jeffry Mine, Asbestos Quebec, Canada.

Aragonite
It is the white material.  According to Wikipedia, it fluoresces in UV light.  I'll check this sample and get back to you about this.  UV photography requires equipment I don't possess.

It is Calcite.
